"Man, sometimes I forget what a powerful bender that kid is." -
Sokka
1:00: I never knew A:TLA had such a fish. It's so…odd.
Aang's Development: What happened to monk's innocence. Jeez,
Aang. Wait a couple more years before you say statements like, "Do
you mean all of you or just your neck? I mean, both look great."
Kataang's Development: Katara compares Aang to Momo? Their
relationship, based on "adored intimacy" is failing haughtily. Katara
thinks Aang as a friend…I mean, I would too. He's quite young…she would
just seem like a 'cougar' now. Sorry Kataangers.
3:04: Oh my Spirits! That was freaky. Appa just roared and
that platypus bear popped up an egg from its ass.
Meng's checking out Aang the same way Aang was checking out Katara.
I hate papaya too. Actually, mango is my favourite fruit.
Cloudbending!
Kataang's Development: 22:00 when Sokka says, "sometimes I forget
what a powerful bender that kid is…" Katara finally realizes that she is
somewhat destined to be with Aang…or Zuko. =)
"Take care…floozy." - Meng. Oooooh - Meng, how rude! Yet, totally
hilarious. I completely agree.
Never depend on the expected, for we are capable to shape the
unexpected.
"My friends need to suck on those frogs!!!" - Aang
No discussion today. My apologies- tomorrow, for sure! I really wanted to give a discussion for The Blue Spirit...but issues. Anyhow, enjoy the episode above.
How convenient it is that there will be a storm today in North York, Toronto and we're watching the episode, "the storm." I love this episode, because it gives us insight on the "antagonist" and "protagonist's" past, by providing reasoning as to why their character acts/lives a certain way. Anyhow, enjoy. This episode made me cry.

The Storm - Episode Twelve
"You will learn respect and suffering will be your teacher." - Firelord Ozai
1:12: Wow! Katara is riding a 1000x version of Momo. Scary. Following after is a haunting chorus of "We need you Aang. We need you," with a voiced combination of Sokka, Gyatso and Katara. The Storm's beginning was very disturbing, to be honest.

2:19: This scene is simply beautiful. I love the painting and that little circle of rocks. Reminds me of a lake downtown. Definitely a memorable scene. <3 Oh and they show such an epic Canadian tribute of "Canadian Geese" or whatever A: TLA calls it, creating a v-shaped order as they flew through the sky. Simply breathtaking. :0
Momo's Development 1: I seriously love Momo, but he has an inapprehensible obsession with food. He literally feeds on anything his eyes lie on.
"Food eats people." - Sokka.
HA! Did you see that? Around 3:55, this creepy woman kicked Sokka's little bum. Ha-ha!
"After a bowl of noodles…"- Iroh. Okay seriously, what's up with this promotion of food being comfort food?
10:38: Wow! Zuko looks terribly young and innocent. There is like a piece of hair strayed out of place too. How cute! Zuko's voice here sounds more like his voice in book 3. All optimistic, insightful and intelligent - oh, I love Zuko! At 14:20 Zuko looks scared silly. [image]
Aang's Development: [15:20] WOW! That is too cool. Just too cool. Aang's anger activates the intensively dangerous Avatar State. I love how it just comes like that! When Aang's sad, he brings awesome edge to the show, losing all the childish tone of the show. I love it! Angry Aang makes A:TLA super edgy and defined.
Despite my absolute adoration for the oh-so-sexy Ozai…he's a serious b*tch at 17:30.
17:40: We see Zhao again, with that awful smirk on his face. But also, Azula is introduced in this scene for the first time in A: TLA. I think she's about eleven or twelve here, would anyone like to justify me…I'm not sure. Anyhow, she's cute, but I hate her stupid smirk too. Gah, may Agni drag her to the pits of this Earth!
18:32: Same flashback seen in the Ember Island Players of Zuko's past.
19:35: Is this where Iroh discovered how to redirect lightening? In the process, he gets partially-zapped. At 20:18, you can see Zuko has gained some loyalty from his men, due to his loyalty to keeping them safe. That goes on the "plus" side of Zuko's Character Development.
22:00: This is one of the many times Aang looks over his shoulder to see Zuko being so near to him, yet Zuko doesn't make no move to snatch him. Usually during bad situations, like this one.
Despite the consequences our life has brought us in the past or future, each of us has given ourselves or another hope, even if we don't realize it.
